A personal project in which illustrations of different faces are shown, representing the most characteristic features of each one and discarding the details so as not to overload the illustration.
The aim was to capture the essence of each face and illustrate it with as few strokes as possible. Several images of each person were used in order to visualise the most characteristic shapes, avoiding distractions such as lights, shadows or expressions in each photograph.
We start by drawing lines of different thicknesses and also circular shapes of different sizes to represent the density of the hair. The colour chosen for all the illustrations is black in different tones.
